National Medical College Admission Eligibility and Requirements
- Age: The minimum age requirement for admission to National Medical College is at least 17 years old, although there is no higher limit on the age range.
- Entrance exam: Tribhuvan University’s “Postgraduate Medical Entrance examination” is used to choose both Nepalese and non- Nepalese students. January 2021 is when the exam is administered.
- The applicant must have education from a recognized university and a minimum 50 percent aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required for admission to National Medical College.The applicant should be NEET-UG qualified.
- Documents needed to get admitted to the National College of Medicine: Scanned copies of birth certificates, MCI certificates, Indian passports, and documentation proving their validity
- After passing the entrance exam, students are assessed through a group discussion and a personal interview. The online application process for admission to National Medical College begins in July.
Fee for Tuition and Additional Fees (No Donation)
- The cost of tuition for all MBBS or P.G. courses.
- According to the regulations, there will be fees for university registration, exams, and the Medical Council.
- According to National Medical College rules and regulations, there is a registration fee and an admission fee for MBBS and P.G. courses.
- The NRs 80,000.00 (INRs 50,000.00) caution money is refundable.
- The hostel fee includes a single room with a small pantry and an attached bathroom with hot and cold water. 95,000.00 Indian rupees (INR 59,375.00) a year, which includes free electricity for up to 15 units.
- The cost of the food is NRs. 1,00,000.00 (INR 62,500.00) each year.
- The cost of P.G. Hostel & Mess is NRs 1,74,000.
- Quarter charges for P.G. are NRs. 1,26,000.00 (no mess charge).
Internship
A student after passing the final MBBS Examination is required to complete one one-year compulsory rotating internship at the Teaching Hospital of this medical college. After the completion of the internment, they will get the MBBS Degree from Tribhuvan University. To have a registration with the NMC for the medical graduate there is an exam to be passed known as the Nepal Medical Council Licencing Examination (NMCLE).
