Eligibility Criteria to Study MBBS at BGC Trust Bangladesh University

Admissions to BGC Trust Bangladesh University are overseen by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) and follow a stringent process.

• Applicants must be between 17 and 25 years of age by July 31 of the application year.
• Completion of 10th and 12th grades with at least 60% marks or a GPA of 7.
• To be eligible, a valid NEET qualification is required.
• A comprehensive medical check-up is required, and students with physical, mental, or refractory conditions are ineligible.

Admission Process

The admission procedure is as follows:

1. Qualify for NEET: The NEET exam must be passed by every applicant.
2. Meet Academic Requirements: A minimum of 60% in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry is essential.
3. Application Submission:
   • Download the MBBS application form from the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry’s website.
   • Pay a $60 fee (subject to change) in your home country and obtain the receipt.
   • Submit the completed application form, receipt, and necessary documents to the Bangladesh Embassy for equivalency and approval.
4. Provisional Admission: Forward the required documents to the college to receive a provisional offer.
5. Review and Testing: The DGHS reviews applications and conducts an entrance test through Chittagong Medical University. Admission is based on merit.
6. Waiting List: Unfilled seats after the deadline are offered to candidates on the waiting list.
