Requirements for admission to Bangladesh’s Ibn Sina Medical College:

To pursue an MBBS at Ibn Sina Medical College, one must be eligible for NEET.
To be admitted to Ibn Sina Medical College, all students, domestic or foreign, must take the Dhaka University Entrance Exam.
The IELTS and TOEFL are both required for qualification.
On or prior to the date of admission, the student must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
To be eligible for admission to the MBBS program, the student must have passed an exam such as the HS/A level or an equivalent one.
Before 2017, the student shouldn’t have passed the Class 10th, SSC, or “O” level exams.
Before 2019, the student shouldn’t have passed the 12th, HSC, or “O” Level exams.
The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average the student has to obtain is 7 in Class 10th/ SSC/ ‘O’ level or equivalent examination.
The minimum GPA in SSC or any equivalent examination and HSC or equivalent examination is 3.5.
To pass Biology at the 12th level the minimum GP you need to get is 3.5.
To calculate the GPA against the marks obtained in the SSC/ O’ level examination or any equivalent examination the highest five marks in the subjects are considered. Therefore, the GPA in the ‘O’ level is; – equal to the total marks obtained in the first five subjects over 5.
For calculating the GPA against the marks obtained in the HSC/ ‘A level examination or any equivalent examination, the top three marks of the subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) are considered. Consequently, the GPA in ‘A’ level is obtained as the Total mark achieved in the three best subjects/ 3.

Process of admission to Ibn Sina Medical College:

- It is a lot of work to get into a medical college. While the academic criteria might be enough but medical entrance exam is the direct ticket to MBBS at Ibn Sina Medical College. This examination is held every year in October by DGHS [Directorate General of Health Services] Bangladesh and it is advisable to apply early to avoid any problems.

NOTE: Indian Students who have qualified for NEET will be given priority for direct admission.

First and foremost’s memorandum and other important documents required are the 10th & 12th mark sheet & certificate, and admit card all attested by the Bangladesh High Commission, Delhi.
Complete an online form provided by the college’s website in September.
The papers used should be attested [original copy and photocopy] by the college which is a requirement for acquisition.
Once the student has submitted her/his application, the university will admit her/him to Ibn Sina Medical College and she/he will receive a conformational admission offer via email. However, do not apply at the DGHS after getting an offer letter, only attach all the mark sheets at the Bengal Deputy High Commission, Kolkata with a of 60$ to get approval from DGHS. Kolkata Commission, use 60$ to get the approval of DGHS.
After that, the student will receive an Equivalency Certificate in Bangladesh from DGHS & Admit Card from Ibn Sina Medical College.
- Then pay the first year admission fee to the college and obtain a student visa. The following documents are required for application: Class 10 & 12-Admit card / Smart card & Mark sheet & Certificate.
- Admission letter & Equivalence Certificate.
- TT copy [college fees transfer].
- Birth certificate
- 2 copies of the passport-size photo.
- Original Passport
- Then you need to report to the college before the deadline.
