The International University received independent status and operational autonomy on December 30, 1998, as a result of the Kyrgyz Republic President’s decision and the Kyrgyz Republic Government’s subsequent law. The institution changed its name and organization in 2017 and became the Academic Institute known as the “International University of Kyrgyzstan.” As a result of this change, an industrial organization was formed that now includes a variety of educational, scientific, and practical entities, resulting in a broad and varied academic environment.

Admission Process
- Select the program of YOUR preference and complete an application form on the website.
- You must complete the visa invitation inquiry form.
- All the necessary documents should be compiled and sent to the university along with the above-mentioned forms.
- After 30 days of approval from the university, you will be sent an invitation letter.
- Today you can apply for a student visa and come to the university only after you obtain the visa.
- In the course of the training, each student is supposed to sit for the university entrance examination on entry into the university.
- If you have done this, sit for the university entrance exam and after passing it, enter an agreement with the university to provide you with student status.
- Submit the amount of tuition fee required and all other charges if any.

The MBBS program at the International University of Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan takes 5 years of academic learning and another one-year internship is compulsory.
