The Tbilisi State Medical University is large and renowned in Georgia and Eastern Europe was founded in 1918. Founded with the title of Tbilisi State University (TSU), its 85 years of successful experience was marked by its renaming as Tbilisi State Medical University. Tbilisi State Medical University’s six-year MBBS program includes a one-year internship. The first two years focus on theoretical and academic medical education, the third year covers pre-clinical studies, and the final three years are dedicated to clinical courses, providing practical exposure and advanced medical knowledge.

• Applicants should be between 17 and 25 years old on or before the date of admission.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.
• Candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate of 60% in the core subjects of their 10+2 examinations.
• For SC/ST/OBC applicants, a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the same subjects is required.
• Indian students must also clear the NEET examination, as it is mandatory.
• Both the TOEFL and IELTS should be passed by the applicants.

Apply for the MBBS Programme at Tbilisi State Medical University

• Fill out the online application form and provide all necessary documents.
• After the university reviews the applications, applicants must deposit the fees into the university’s designated bank account.
• After payment of fees, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will issue an accreditation letter to the applicant within 30 days. The university then receives a ministry order and sends an official invitation letter to the students.
• After completing all the above procedures, visa approval typically takes around 30 days.
• Once the fees are cleared, the date and details of departure are planned and finalized.
